You can expect to receive a bare root with 2-5 visible eyes. The peony roots can be planted now, or until the ground freezes. It may take up to 3 years for the peony to produce flowers, but this is normal. They will continue to produce beautiful blooms year after year once they are well established. Peonies require 8+ hours of full sunlight a day and prefer well draining soil.
