Bareroot Clumps-Sea Oats

The price includes one bareroot of sea oats for $8.00. If you want multiple, please order the quantity needed.

Sea oats are green in the beginning of the season but turns brown in the late summer/early fall! This foliage can be harvested to dry as well and create beautiful movement in fresh or dried arrangements. We sell them as mini sea oats in the early summer, regular green sea oats in the summer through September, and fall sea oats in October.

Stem length: 18+" These get very tall in the field!

Botanical name: Chasmanthium latifolium.

Upon arrival, plant them into a 4" pot to grow more roots for a more established plant.  Or plant directly into the ground, making sure to fill in around the roots and keep them well watered.
